Now this one, I'm actually excited for. You would have seen on here before, I quite often go to a restaurant called The Stable. Their tagline is Pizza, Pies & Cider. Until now, I've ignored the pies and went straight in for pizza. Well, let me tell you, what a mistake that was.
Kate and I recently decided we would try something from their pie menu. I had this Chicken, Gammon & Leek pie with some potato wedges. Honestly, without a shadow of a doubt, the best pie I've ever had. The pastry was what looked like homemade. Perfect in consistency & even better in taste. Just everything about this was amazing.
I think I've been converted to the pie side...
