That Christmasy Feeling | Blogmas By Harrison

Some of the best part about Christmas is getting your home ready and in that festive feeling. Sometimes though, it's not always the easiest thing to do.

So today, I'm going to give you three, quick and simple tips on how to get your home feeling festive.

Tip 1:
Light them candles.

This past year, in my house we have been slightly obsessed with candles. We pretty much have them burning every day of the year. One candle in particular is this Black Cherry, Yankee Candle. This candle really is just the epitome of Christmas and is a great way to get your home smelling like Christmas. (And yes, Christmas has a smell)

Tip 2:
Display the cards.

It sounds like a silly one, but it works. Start displaying your Christmas cards. It's around this time of the year that you start receiving them anyway. So as and when you start getting them, put them on display straight away.

  Tip 3:
Light the fire.

We're fortunate enough to have an amazing wood burner, which at this time of the year, we have on pretty much every night.
There is no other wintery feeling than having the fire lit, the blinds pulled shut and watching a good old Christmas film.
Something as simple as lighting the fire can transform the feeling of your home in seconds.

See, getting in the Christmasy spirit isn't that hard after all!
